I think this is a very irrisponsible move by the Michigan DNR. Not only is it costing farmers millions of dollars but it is also going to cause more and more car deer accidents in the state. This in turn is going to raise vehicle insurance for everyone! Just another bad move by the state of Michigan to ruin Michigan's economy even more!
This is not suppose to be a socialist country where BIG government controls the people. It is time to put the people back in control and we need to show our conserns in November. www.myspace.com/familyrights
The Michigan DNR has in fact made a very responsible decision in banning deer baiting, especially with CWD being an issue in the State's deer herds. Better to lose the opportunity to bait than face the risk of CWD infecting the deer population.
