It's very sad to see Jerry, his family, and family business suffer this tragedy. I hope the authorities can somehow retrieve the embezzled monies, even if it is a portion of that large sum. Fifty seven years is a long time to weather out changing economies and keep solvent. As Marcia stated, I hope it makes them stronger and better for the experience. Meanwhile, I cannot understand how this embezzler got off so easy with only 15 months jail. She should serve alot more time than that for ruining so many others lives and livelihoods. If she has any assets at all, the courts should liquidate them asap and give the proceeds to the McCormick's in my opinion.
I agree that her assets should be liquidated and the proceeds given to McCormick's. Once she collects social security a portion of that should be designated for them as well. I just don't understand what she could have done with all that money she stole. We did business with them. I was impressed with the professionalism of the cutting crew and JW. It upsets me that they can not recover their losses. It must have been hard for them to have to lay off their guys. I bet it was like losing family.
