I don't know how many times after the fourth of July we have had to walk around in our yard picking up the sticks of fireworks launched in the air from people on the other side of our block, not to mention having to listen to very loud bangs from certain people in the area having gotten bomb like firworks that do nothing other then make a loud bang.
Remember that if it is fun it probably is illegal.
I agree with Ludington girl. I haven't found any in my yard, but I do hear hear loud (((kabooms))) in my neighborhood, and also from across town. These have to be illegal if I can hear them from far away. Somebody is selling them around here, or so many wouldn't have them.
wow i can not believe ludington citizens have become this overzealous. It is the fourth of july, a great celebration. And it yet amazes me again how we can have people who do nothing but complain. FIRST of all if any of you haven't noticed we are a tourist town...so as far as someone selling them ( giggling in my seat) HAVE YOU NOT FIGUERED out that these tourist THE MANY MANY that come here ARE COMING WITH FIREWORKS FROM OUT OF STATE. As for the the VERY LOUD BANGS...you are going to have that anywhere you go in michigan or even out of michigan. Take a chill pill. Our police officers are busy working there butts off GETTING DRUNK DRIVERS of the street, handing out MIPS to the kids who's parents are keeping a close eye on them, helping with emergency situations that happen, and directing traffic! I THINK THEY ARE DOING PRETTY DARN GOOD TO KEEP OUR 4TH OF JULY SAFE AND ENJOYABLE.
