Wow, imagine the world today if the people who didn't want to learn to use a microwave rebelled against it...or the people who didn't want to drive...or the people who didn't want to etc etc. Everything changes.

My mom refuses to get a computer, and functions just fine. SHe rightly believes that if a company chooses not to provide a phone contact then they obviously do not want to do business with her or the millions like her. I was surprised that Walt was offended that he could not enter a contest because it required a computer response. I can not remember the last time I entered a contest period (so many are simply a way to acquire a calling / mailing list). Walt should know that his chances of winning were so remote, he is better off not entering. Last, I didn't see anything in the article, but I understood that ADD was controlled with medication. One of my sons friends still uses a medication and is in his late 20's and currenty employed in a career job. If Walt can not controll his condition with a medication, then aknowledge that there are many jobs that do not require computer literacy and move on. I suspect there is more to the story that is not reported.
