Great idea. Much better than coal plant coming in. If you've seen any wind farms on the other side of the state, you'll know they are not eye-sores. My family and I think they look great, and the construction brings business to the community. Lets get with the 21st century!
This a a clean, necessary approach to modern America's need for power.
The public will never see the benefit of these turbines. The windmill companies will reap the profits and benefits of these windmills on PUBLIC LANDS. This is a National Forest and should be kept in it's natural state. How many birds will die from these windmills? It sure seems natural to see 420 ft. windmill towers rising out of a National Forest, while you boat along in Lake Michigan. Let these profiteers find somebody with private land to suck their money out of.Let the public keep the forest as close to nature as possible.
They get to use our land to fill their oil rich pockets! Bring on the coal plants, their cleaner now days anyway.
