I wish that the sheriffs office would put on an additional tax of some kind (maybe through property taxes) to fund more road patrol officers. I think that the thought of only having 3 road officers for the entire county is unacceptable. For as many residents that depend on these services the cost would not be that great. What if each resident paid an extra $20 per year, how many officers could be hired? I am glad to see that Sheriff Hartrum and Officer Fiers can work together during this election. It is just sad that our prosecuting attorney couldn't.

$20.00 dollars a year??? Where do I sign up??? I'll pay $30.00 dollars a year to get more road deputies.
