Let's hope not everyone is fooled and the next time we have a chance to vote, the people can see through this hypocrisy. Mark Hendges
Haven't you all been hearing how Michigan needs to create new jobs, not dependent on the car industries, for years - you must be getting a little tired of "no action" from your legislators. When are WE going to stand up and demand more from all levels of OUR local and state officials? When are WE going to start holding them accountable? When are WE going to begin to make a difference in Michigan's economy?
We can make a difference by electing people who care. Pete doesn't care! I'm glad he's not running again in 2010 but worried one of his cronies will replace him.
I know the article was about US Rep Pete Hoekstra, but its funny that no one here has anything bad to say about Governor Granholm. I personally believe she has looked th other way too many times in her terms in office. Just try to see both sides fairly.
