Ha ha. It's been snowing every day, and I haven't seen a snow plow on my road since early last week. I think they've shut down their fleet to spare our mailboxes. I've declared myself officially "snowed in."

Well, they finally plowed our road yesterday and once again (for the 3rd time in 3 years)they wiped out our mailbox. We originally had a nice wooden post, but the county only provides a metal fence post as a replacement. Why bother to replace them at all? It doesn't replace what we had, it just gives them a sense of satisfaction. Us, not so much
