I hope the public comes out in big numbers to oppose this Lud. project. If not, it looks like the State of Mich. is leaning in the developers favor. The Gov. may end up blowing our lakes and minds away, for good.

I think Mr. Pruss understands the implications of the Havgul project and is taking the right position on the way Scandia has proceeded with pushing their project through. There are too many unanswered questions: the experimental nature of a project this big and this close to shore in a lake vs the ocean, the effects on fishing, boating and the proliferation of unwanted shellfish, the possible detrimental effects on area beaches and therefore tourism and the flouting of GLOW's initial recommendations.
