I know what it's like to not be able to help your child and all you can do is wait. It's horrible. My thoughts are with these parents and I am hopeful that these children will recover fully.
This is ridiculous, the driver (Mr. Howland) driving at a time when kids are going to school hits a couple of kids going between their house and the school and gets no citation for driving without due care for pedestrians. Most motorists and police in this area believe that vehicles have the sole right to the road. This is why people hit our kids with their vehicles when they could have just exercised due caution and drove slow and anticipated kids struggling through the snow on the side of the road. Ask yourself how many kids and other pedestrians must die before a citation is issued to a motorist who could have prevented a tragedy by driving with a little more common sense and courtesy.
I have to agree with you. people need to drive more careful. last i knew was that pedestrians had the right away and not the motorists.
