Good!!! Now they need to catch those that set the Baldwin station on fire in December.

Heather J. on February 03, 2010 at 1:03 PM

Yes it is an amazing thing they caught the people responsible for that fire...However sir- the fire in Baldwin was NOT arson! The fire at the Baldwin EZMart was an ELECTRICAL fire that orginated in the mens restroom!

I know someones kids who lives in Ludington and the kid who is 17 has three felonies hanging above him and has been in trouble several times, expelled from school and so on. Just recently he turned 18 and did not want to go to school, it was his birthday and the parents were trying to do the right thing so they called the probation officer, because this was part of his probabion and they (the probation officer) basically said so what or ok. Your system in the Ludington area is worthless. So I imagine that these people that broke in and started the fire will get a slap on the hand. Way to enforce the law.

Wow will Jake never learn, they say 3rd times the charm. But I'm betting this isn't the last time he will be going to jail/prison, guess he wants to be a career criminal

Guess You have a lot of time to contemplate and judge others lives. What Jake did was wrong and he has been caught. He obviously has struggled to get his life on track....He is going away for a long time and he has a family that has suffered and paid too.parolees go back to prison FYI and that is no slap on the wrist! Pray for Jake Pray for his family.Try not to swarm like vultures when something bad happens. Are you so perfect? Many worthless human beings have never done time. Be careful what you judge, lest you become or give birth to it.

I think people need to remember that these gentlemen have families that are morning for there community and for there children. Bashing them is not going to help them or the community. As for the law enforcement, I think Ludington has one of the best. Maybe some family members need to step up and control their 17/18 yr olds and not depend solely on the law enforcement.

I have read all the comments about Jacob Criswell and do agree that he has made some poor choices. It saddens me to see that people seem to think that they have the right to judge and post cruel and hurtful comments about Jacob without any insite on his personal life. He certainly did do wrong, there is no question about it, but do you people have no morals...think about his mother and what she is going through. Maybe, think about how your comments may hurt her even more than she is hurting now. Use some common courtesy people.

i was looking at some stuff and managed to run across these comments and though most of you are in defense of jake's actions there are a couple that were judging him by his actions and mistakes and for you to do that without knowing him is wrong he is a great guy with a huge heart that made some bad choices he would do anything for a friend or his family i feel sorry for you to have that much of a closed mind to judge someone by there mistakes instead of by who they are as a person
