What a load of nonsense from someone who purports to "respect the Constitution". Quit running for Governor for a minute and do something meaningful, like working on the country's real problems. At least our own "hostage "situation will end one way or the other later this year.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I think Hoekstra needs to brush up on the Constitution and the basics of "Representative Democracy." Does he think the framers of the Constitution just overlooked this?! Sir Hoekstra, I recommend The Federalist Papers. You'll see these issues were addressed long ago. Ugh.
It would also be wonderful to see those who protend to value free elections also condemn "card check" which is just another theft of free choice! Ask ACORN what they promote. It is NOT - - ONE MAN- ONE VOTE- by SECRET BALLOT.
