More nice summer events planned, and I do support them. Except they could and should move GUS over by the LHS area. Now, when is the City going to get started on some plans to attract/create incentives for new industry and jobs for locals? Or isn't that ever going to be on the agenda? Lotta spending planned, how about some cost savings plans and income producing ideas, for a change?
For many reasons, the GUS should be moved to the high school. As a seasonal property owner in Ludington where the non homestead property tax is the highest in the SOM, we find the tournament invasive, and it compromises the opportunity to enjoy our property on a summer week end. In 2009, beach patrols were insufficient to control the elements of the aforementioned event.
