Hope all gets better on the health front for Mr. Hayes, and a new buyer will keep this icon going for the future. It's quite a remarkable store, esp. for Ludington.
I'm sorry to hear that it's closing :( When we come to Ludington in the summer we always visit the store. Hopefully someone will buy it and keep it going. Good luck Mr Hayes hope your health improves.
Very sorry to hear the news. I went there for newspapers and magazines daily when in town during the summer. Seems like the things that make Ludington unique and enjoyable (like Gibbs restaurant) are slowly disappearing.
I just wish we had a choice, HD, or Gibbys! And a movie theatre that is closed half the nite/year. JMO
