If they run up against Covert or West Michigan Christian they will get blown out. These two teams play a much tougher schedule. Who has MCE played? Brethren beat them and Scottville almost beat them. If I were a gambling man I would put $500 that they won't make it to the semi finals. Again, I have seen these other teams play and they are across the board superior to Custer. I put Custer in the Top 15 but absolutely not number 1. I hope they go far but over rated.
Hat off? And you want them to go far but you think they will get blown out? Sounds like an oxymoron to me. I like that you support them in a way but it's tournament time and anyone can win.
As a Cardinal Alum, we are all very proud of our school, our community, and our team. Don, what a negative response to a very good, fun, and well written article. Success doesn't just come from making it to the Breslin, you obviously don't get life's bigger picture! Also, way to go out on a limb there you big time betting man. ONLY 4 out of around 250+ teams from each Class A-D make it to the Breslin. Hopefully you grow up and the rest of your life goes way better than this negative posting you reponded with here. Go Cardinals and Best of Luck this week!
Don you are obviously a sad, unhappy individual and for that I fell sorry for you. I am a scottville fan but have watched custer play a few games this year and they are a very good team and fun to watch. Maybe custer is the best team in the state and maybe not but instead of criticizing a group of kids who have obviously worked extremely hard over the years to get to where they are at,maybe you should try positive encouragement and maybe they can beat these other teams you speak of. As I stated I am a scottville fan but I can root for any team in this area that is doing good and be proud that a team from this area is getting the recognition. I am sure it makes you feel like a big man trying to bring down a team of kids but I promise you if you put a smile on your face and be a little more positive you will be much happier in life which is very clear you are not. GOOD LUCK CUSTER. I hope you win it all and shut your critics up and you use them as the motivation to make it to the top.
