Caution: start medling with parking and you will have even fewer customers. Ever wonder why people leave the downtown stores and flock to the malls? PARKING!

I run a store downtown & this is a EASILY solved problem. Let people park wherever they want for as long as they need ! either that or go back to meters. This marking tires and giving tickets to paying customers just ticks everbody off. Have you ever looked at the color coded map that tells parking areas and times...? it's confusing and was done without much logic.

It only took one parking ticket for me on Ludington Ave when I was shopping downtown for me to stop shopping downtown. I am not going to be penalized for shopping downtown.
