As a parent, I would like to thank the Ludington Daily News staff (Lloyd and the photographers) for the coverage you provide for the local athletic programs. The spirit of this small town comes through in your articles and photographs. I would also like to thank WKLA's Rod and Traci Beckman and Joe Holmes for their professional coverage of the live action. Many are able to enjoy the game even when travel is not an option. You are a true gift to our community. Finally, who can forget our wonderful O-Funk band and the cheerleaders and team managers who are there to provide the spark and enthusiasm that make games like Spring Lake some of the most memorable events in our times.
