John Reed, who lives along the Petunia Parade route off of Ludington Avenue has always loved how the flowers show off and welcomes people to Ludington. Reed got involved with the Petunia Parade around 2008 when Dave Carpenter retired from his block captain position with the Petunia committee.
Local artist Justin David Gustafson absolutely loves to paint, he has been doing it for nearly 30 years, and this summer he will be spending two weeks as one of the Artist in Residence at the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park.

Ludington -- Sandcastles Children's Museum announced a new program that will offer free museum admission on Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for families receiving food assistance (SNAP benefits) in a press release received Tuesday.
