The AP sure likes to push it's own agenda. Hardly any mention on the Democrats that were also against it. Or entire states who tried to ban it or rule it unsconstitutional. Just print what you want, the sheeple will believe anything. What a one sided, piece of garbage, propaganda article.
Yes, and just think: this health care deform will only cost about 12 Trillion dollars to the kids it is supposedly 'saving'. Figure each citizen will owe about 1 Mil the day they are born. Now that's progress! Thank you, Pelosi, Reid and Obama.
Do either of you have health insurance? My guess would be yes. I for one work, as well as my husband. My husband is offered health insurance, at only $1000 of month! Completely out of reach for us. I am not even offered insurance, because my job will only allow me just under 40 hours a week. I cannot afford to buy insurance on my minimum wage, even with my husbands income, it is still too expensive. It would cost more than my rent, and utilities together, and that is just for basic health care. I do not know if The Presidents plan will help me, or not, but I do know we need change for health care insurance.
Mary, I sure hope they provide a system that works for you and others like you who work hard and cannot get basic insurance because of absurd pricing. However, President Pelosi and her friends have chosen an avenue that punishes those with existing health care and those employers who provide insurance for its employees. It is the goal of this administration to put everyone on one taxpayer funded system. This is in no uncertain terms nothing less than socialism. And for that very reason, a repealling of the current act is not out of the question. I hope a REASONABLE solution can be agreed upon at some point.
