Nice job Mr. Cooper we will remember this during election time!
Great, the habitual offender will be out to prey on the general public again in less than two years.
Better to plea bargain then to get the conviction. Guns slinging, drug dealing, home invasions, armed robberies... Let's make Ludington safe...you do the crime...damn well should expect to do the time. Shame on Cooper for taking the easy road to justice.
Since when do "habitual offenders" get 1.5 to 4 years sentencing for a crime that involves a weapon? Cooper will never be re-elected in this county...he was obviously related to the defendant somehow. What an embarrassment!!
yes and out of that one yr to 4 yrs he will probally not even sit that long he could rot there for all i care he will get out and do the same dam thing
More than 1 strike and a slap on the wrist? theres this thing called.. punishment.. or.. accountability.. where are we showing the offender (Not to mention our children!) that they are going to be held responsible for their actions?? BAD judgment call :(
