Good luck CARRE, hope you win this one, in spite of our own MCC not caring about the public firstly and foremost, as they are hired to do.
Wow ! this should put Aquamans shorts into a bunch........
Onward to the courts "Citizens Alliance for Responsible Renewable Energy (CARRE) was formed to oppose construction of the wind park. Many of the group’s members LIVE NEAR properties where the wind turbines will be erected and are concerned construction of the large structures and their operation will affect THEIR quality of life." It appears to me that someone is jealous of their neighbors as far as who gets the money from CP for land use. I would say they need to get a big towel and divide it between the cry babies that do not want to see life go on to green technologies that better benefit our future generations . ie; coal ,gas, and yes even nuclear power producers.
Snide-I don't think Aquaman got enough ice cream as a child.
Such a waste of time and tax payer money. CARRE is wasting all of this money, to prevent more tax dollars from entering our area. And all because of lies, and in the end, they will have the windmills to look at anyways.
I would have to agree with Walhalla Dude on this on. Those who apart of CARRE are pushing this only for their own selfish desire, and in no way for what is best for the community as a whole. We live in a society of ME, and that is all that they care about. They cannot go to court saying that they just don't like the fact that their neighbors are allowing the turbines to be built, so they come up with a list of lies and false allegations.
From all the things I have read, it seems like Consumers hasn't been completely honest about the affect on, and the cost to the community of the wind park. There are lots of other wind parks around these days, so when I read an article where some negative affect is brought to light, and Consumers response is "we had no idea about it" I have a hard time believing them, and it brings serious doubts as to wether the benifits of having the wind park here out weighs the negatives.
