The local police are responsible for monitoring this, as per State Law, so if you are a landlord in Scottville or Ludington and get a written note from the police telling you that you are in violation of this local ordinance, remind them that they are the ones in violation of a state law. This law seeks to put a duty on Landlords that is the duty of the local police. Shame on the Scottville City Council for caving in to this.
