Now the part that concerns me, is the sentence that contains the words "extra insurance". What extra insurance? And does this law allow riders of ATV's, UTV's, etc., the same leniency? More info please!!!!
Don't agree with this law, and hope people 'use their heads' and realize how beneficial a helmet is. FYI...I've had a head surgery, cost well over $250,000. Protect your brain. Now on the other sde if things....this will make organ donation lists go faster (like in Wisconsin already) and since my Dad is soon to be in the list for a kidney, well.....
I personally don't care who wears a helmet or not. But in these days of revamping health care due to spiraling costs does it really make sense to pass this law NOW...? I would just like them not to add insurance , but make them sign a waiver saying we don't have to keep your stupid self alive if you don't wear a helmet and get a head injury.
