Incredible. They may be losing their insurance, but if they pass this their salary will be at least tripled, their per diem will go up, etc. Why do they even get per diem since they don't even travel out of county? This is the largest group of crooks (minus Mary Nichols) we've seen and we greatly appreciate the reduction of seats to seven, so the guilty can be easier to pick out of the line-up.
Why not let the people decide their pay in the upcoming election. Benjamin Franklin said "Once the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.” and its coming thanks to greedy appointed and elected politicians and the people they put in charge ........jim
Can any politician actually do any math? Did their Moms run a deficit?
Only politicians get to vote on their own pay raise. This has always burned me. I agree with Jim, we the people should have the choice of whether or not to give them a raise. This is letting the fox guard the henhouse!
