I'm really confused about Sue Boes' response to the compensation package that the commissioners will be receiving...she is ON the Finance Commitee that decided HOW MUCH($11,000) the compensation packages would be, why did she vote "YES" for the $11,000 then, but said it should only be $7,000 at the forum?? We all understand now why she only put in 36 hours in a month, she doesn't think this is a FULL TIME job and doesn't fulfill all required classes that most commissioners do. Isn't it also true that she supports the "CARE" group that sued the County Commissioners for $150,000+ regarding the wind turbine zoning and won, then at the forum stated, "our money needs to be better spent on economic development"? I would think that $150,000+ could HAVE been spent better on economic development had it not gone to pay the "CARE" group legal expenses! What is Sue doing to bring MORE jobs to our community? She has never been a business owner in the Community. I would much rather have a business owner on the board who knows the ups and downs of economy relating to jobs and local businesses. It seems to me like she only says what she thinks the people want to hear, not what is actually best for our community.
