I am APPALLED that apparently Law Enforcement had this 'letter'/confession to the death of baby Kate for 'weeks' and it was kept a 'secret'. Our WHOLE community, who has put countless hours looking for her, praying for her, and worrying about her deserved to know about this. Oh, only 'privy' people, etc, were allowed to know? And WHY ISN'T ARIEL COURTLAND IN JAIL... I'm PRETTY SURE, withholding this letter is criminal, and I'm pretty sure things said in this letter were incriminating to her as well... has CPS been overseeing the other child, when the mother is involved in a possible murder?? And for this article, WHO CARES whether TRASH marries TRASH!! How about a headline that tells us more about where we stand on this confession, is anyone looking for her, is the mother/father being held responsible? Let's give someone NEWSWORTHY, like this baby everyone is worried about, the headline, and not the pieces of LYING trash this poor baby had to call parents.

Great story Kevin, I'm sure this will bring a end to the search when they get married. Great job by the Police to let this happen! Things take time and we need to waite, like it or not it's the right path to bring Baby Kate home and send him away forever!!

Yup its law enforcements fault...THERE WOULDNT BE ANY EVIDENCE LEFT OF AN INFANT BODY!!! IT WOULDNT MATTER, logic doesn’t exist with people on here..it’s sad there are people like you guys out there. You blame law enforcement for people wanting to get married, open law book and try reading it...

This is certainly a confusing and strange scenario of human life, but, we sit here, and wait and pray that somehow, all comes out right, and justice prevails. I can see a manslaughter charge in the making, maybe voluntary, maybe involuntary, don't know yet, but still thinking on this as these two lovebirds continue into this farce of a life. Very sad indeed.

What a sad state of affairs to confess not only to killing an infant, but to have left her body to the elements and animals, to have held a mortally injured baby in his arms and to have done nothing to help her. To want to marry such a person says a lot about the mother, too, in that it seems that she condones his activity.
