This seems like a very immature move, instead of going out with honor and integrity; you are now going out like a child.
How is this really going to cost the tax payers thousands more? Either way, there is going to be an election, a sheriff is going to be elected, someone without a job. Taxpayers are not paying for his campaign. I give him credit for staying with his campaign and fighting for the citizens of Mason County. He has my vote!
Well Cindy, now that Jeff is doing a write in, every ballot filled out will have to be hand counted. I believe that would estimate to over 10,000 ballots. By hand counting that means the County will have to pay extra people and pay extra time for them to hand count every ballot. By doing this it will cost the County a ton of money. It is a pretty easy and obvious observation
Sdc, you're so negative when it comes to common sense! I'm with you Cindy, Fiers is the best (non-union thug) for the job. I doubt counting a few extra ballots is going to break Mason County, and not nearly as costly as Cole's spending spree if he's elected for sure.
