FACT: The Detroit Free Press, the Detroit News, the Battle Creek Enquirer, the Michigan Sheriff's Assocation, and the Michigan Association of School Boards have come out against Prop 2. Join us against Proposal 2 in Michigan. No corporate funding, no attack ads, just concerned citizens that think this is a very bad amendment.
NO PART of our michigan constituion should be amended! UNIONS are Crap! They only take your money...they really do not help you - only help their pockets. DO NOT change our constituion. PLEASE people - read thru these amendments carefully! The ENERGY proposal is misleading also, read the facts...they can only increase your bill up to 1%...that is like one dollar and 35 cents.
Yes, Alex and Name....Let's take away everything from unions. Why should workers have rights anyhow....? let's just privatize all government services(like the GOP wants)-- imagine the savings of only minimum wage earners with government jobs.
Without the right to bargain, we are doomed to regress to the gilded age where there were two classes: rich and poor, master and servant. Unions created the pathway to the great middle class and our once thriving economy. When Reagan busted the air traffic controller's union, we were on our way to an overworked, overstressed and underpaid workforce. We cannot grow our economy without the right to bargain. If it takes an amendment or a change to our constitution, so be it. Whatever it takes to keep our middle class strong.
