People from over 100 miles would drive just to enjoy a concert or bandstand dance at Johnnies for ions in Custer. He sure made a big impression for Mason County residents. RIP old friend, hope to see ya in the bandstand in the sky someday.
While in high school, so many of us looked forward to Saturday nights at Johnny's in Custer. It was the highlight of the week. Johnny was our very own "Dick Clark." Thoughts and prayers to his family.
My thoughts and prayers to the family for their loss at this time. What they did for generations of teenagers will never be forgotten and could never be repeated. Our time with them and at Johnny's will be remembered forever by those of us who spent so much time there. These memories will be treasured forever.
