I have been very critical of the MCE board in the past. In all fairness they have earned the scrutiny. However I am glad to see them move forward with the annexation, this really is a good move for both districts, and their taxpayers. Now, please work on the student count. Think outside the box when promoting MCE, do some marketing, take a look at the Baldwin Promise. How about free drivers ed again? Come on, help me here, there must be many ideas here to get more "customers" in the seats. Please, don't just set there and let the student (customers) count keep dropping without trying something. Think outside the box.

A You seem to have some ideas on how the School Board could improve. There are openings on the School Board from time to time and elections on a regular basis. Instead of running the Board past and present down why not run and put your ideas on the table. It is easy to stand back and complain about how things are done or not done. Get involved. I have a feeling it is much harder for the board to make changes than most of the complainers know. Run and make a positive difference instead of standing back and being negative to what others are trying to do for the district. Go for it, you could be an asset to the district.
