R T W has made Michigan a minimum wage state. No public input and police and fire are exempt. This stinks! There was nothing published about this coming up.
wow
They did it because they were mad that their guy, Mopp Hackney, lost the presidential election.
Yay, let's tackle the public services unions next. Conservative-minded workers no longer have to see money taken out of their paychecks to support bloated liberal policies and union bosses that mostly work against them and their ideals.
So the best part of America is freedom everyone says. So we pass a law, that says, if you don't want to be part of the Union you don't have to pay the union dues, instead of being FORCED to be part of it. What is wrong with this?? People will try arguing saying that a person who isn't paying Union dues is getting the same Union treatment as a person who is paying for it, that is not true. The Union rep may have to represent the person, but doesn't have to say a thing to support them. How can you try and say that this is going to hurt jobs and destroy Michigan? There are over 20 other States that have, The Right to Work, its not like we are just trying it out.
And those States all average $5000 less per year in pay than those states that are pro union. Who will buy goods from small business if the wages go down even more?
