Comments are moderated on a daily basis.How about a home-grown, local born and raised person this time?: like I think the interim guy is now. He knows the locals wants/needs, and won't look to move elsewhere if a bigger salary is offered either. Sooner or later down-staters look for greener pastures, and we don't need that again.
Yeah, good point Eddie. Forget qualifications, experience, or education. Just make sure that whoever gets it is local. Our student's education really isn't that important anyways.

It wasn't in this article, but I thought I read somewhere that Carl Hartman was involved and during a search. I am here to tell you, if he is involved it won't be a homegrown guy. The good ole boy system already has someone up their sleeve.
