First of all the judge should not have thought over the case he should have had the defense do their job. there are people put in prison on less than what the prosecutors had.

Joanne, Your statement shows why the Judge made the right decision. There are people put in prison on less than what the prosecutors had, often because the defense didn't do their job. And justice thereby suffered accordingly, when the innocent gets sentenced, which happens more than you may believe. The prosecution in this case didn't even show that a murder was committed, nonetheless provide a link as to how Coulier did it.
