Yes, who cares about the kids anyways. Obviously not Dilbert. Not that this is a new tax, but a continuation of an existing one, and actually cheaper than the previous one.

EJT, we all care about kids. But where is the ceiling? One could make a case that this would be a new tax. From my understanding it is a expired sinking fund. So we will be voting on a new sinking fund. If we don't vote for a new millage the old one expires and we will see a small savings on our tax bill. On a different, but not unrelated topic, we really need serious fiscal reform at the top of public education. The money these people make, and the layers of administration that are present are appalling. And these people never write one problem on a board in the classroom where it all happens. This is K-12 I speak of, the ISD level is a whole other conversation. About the only thing one can say about the level of compensation and layers of administration at the ISD level is WOW.
