Could be a good thing, more parents opting to educate their own children, instead of the mediocrity and brainwashing of the typical teachers nowadays? Time and true smart students may just follow.

Doubt that is it Eddie, and judging by the ignorance of alot of parents I see, I don't think that would be a good thing. A downward spiral of dumber and dumber people in society. My guess that most of this drop is due to people leaving the area.
