As a Manistee resident, I look forward to a Meijer joining our community. Looking at my family's current shopping patterns, we spend over $100 a week shopping in Ludington, and I can see us driving south a lot less. I doubt it would affect our shopping at K-Mart, Glen's, or Oleson's either, we'd still shop there too. What it would do is bring shoppers in from outer areas like Benzie and Wellston that currently go to Cadillac or TC.
