Fire on Chauvez Road - road may close in area of Stiles as safety precaution due to dynamite in home
Update:
The fire rekindled at about 11:35 p.m. and safety officials made the decision, on advice from the Michigan State Police Bomb Squad, to let the house burn. Prep track: MCE wraps year in regional; Manistee Catholic's Heck going to state
BRETHREN — Manistee Catholic Central junior Alysha Heck placed second in the shot put on Saturday at the MHSAA Division 4 track and field meet. Heck was the lone area athlete to qualify for the final state meet to be held on June 1 at Hudsonville.
