Anniversary Announcement
Weddings, engagement and anniversary news is published in the Ludington Daily News on Tuesdays. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Friday prior to publication date.
Basic announcements will continue to be published at no charge, however, reports will be limited to 8 column inches of copy (about 220 words). Beyond that, there will be an $8-per-inch charge for copy that exceeds the 8-inch limit.
Photographs should be of good quality. These may be picked up after publication or returned in a self-addressed, stamped envelope included with the announcement. There is an $8.50 processing fee charged for photos.
Photographs will be published with announcements of anniversaries in five-year increments starting with the 25th and continuing with 30, 35, 40 and on up.
The Daily News will publish either the original wedding photo or an up-to-date photo; it is the couple’s choice which one to select for publication. Only one photo will be printed.
Digital photos should be sent as an attachment, 200 dpi (dots per inch of resolution), 4 to 8 inches tall or wide. The file name should be the lastnameanniversary.jpg (i.e. smithanniversary.jpg) and should be saved as a jpeg file type.
