The American Youth Foundation-Miniwanca, seeks an energetic, friendly, and dependable individual at their youth development site on Lake Michigan in Shelby, MI.
The primary responsibilities: plan and implement daily maintenance of the buildings and grounds, assist directors in developing a preventive maintenance plan.
Some weekend and evening hours required during the summer. The qualified candidate is a skilled leader, able to perform maintenance functions for facilities, prepare and oversee related budget lines, operate vehicles and various mechanical equipment, have knowledge in custodial systems, building maintenance, use of tools, equipment and machinery, upkeep of ground (including green spaces, roadways and trails). Ability to coach seasonal staff. A working understanding of MS Office applications.
