Engagement Announcement


Bridal news (weddings, engagements, anniversaries) is published in the Ludington Daily News on Tuesdays. The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. Friday prior to publication date. Basic announcements will continue to be published at no charge. However, engagement announcements will be limited to 8 column inches of copy (about 220 words). Beyond that, there will be an $8-per-inch charge for copy that exceeds the 8-inch limit. There is a $8.50 charge for photograph.

Photographs should be of good quality. These may be picked up after publication or returned in a self-addressed, stamped envelope included with the announcement.

Please type or print all information clearly and include a local daytime telephone number in case we need to contact you.

Digital photos should be sent as an attachment, 200 dpi (dots per inch of resolution), 4 to 8 inches tall or wide. The file name should be the lastnameengagement.jpg (i.e. smithengagement.jpg) and should be saved as a jpeg file type.
