Main Street, Fountain, Michigan. All board meetings start at 7:30pm and are open to the public. NOTICE OF FIRST READING PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 123 ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT First reading was conducted on November 10, 2009 for proposed Ordinance No. 123, an ordinance to amend the Pere Marquette Charter Township Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 74 as amended, to amend Article VI - B pertaining to wind energy turbines; to permit structure mounted wind energy turbines (SMWET) and small wind energy turbines (SWET) as an accessory use in all zoning districts; to permit medium wind energy turbine(s) (MWET) and large wind energy turbine(s) (LWET) as conditional uses and structures in the Agricultural (A-1), Agriculture/Residential (A/R), Commercial (C-2), Commercial (C-3), Harbor (HAR), the General Industrial (G-I), and Business, Technology and Industrial (BTI) zoning districts; to amend Article VII to add provisions for site plan review; to amend Article XII to amend definitions; to repeal Ordinance no. 114; and to provide for the effective date of this ordinance.
