SCOTTVILLE – Over 150 West Shore Community College students are eligible to receive degrees and certificates at the college’s 53rd commencement ceremonies to be held on Saturday, May 4, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the college’s Center Stage Theater.

West Shore Educational Service District has Career and Technical Education programming (CTE) which was said to be known for preparing students to be in a professional stature.

During the Ludington City Council meeting on Monday, Chris Cossette, superintendent of the wastewater treatment plant, spoke about the event on April 7 when a wastewater main was punctured in the fourth ward, and was diverted through a storm drain pipe routing into Pere Marquette Lake.
